The Rehabilitation Process
  1. Referral: Initial contact with us may be made by self, friend, family member, employer, health care facility, insurance company or legal practitioner. The individual, however, must make the final contact to be placed on our wait list.
  2. Assessment: We do not screen prospective residents; admitting men from varied backgrounds, ethnicity, religions and medical conditions. Men with concurrent disorders such as schizophrenia and addiction can be admitted as long as they have the capacity to be honest, have a desire for help and are under the direct supervision of a physician.
  3. Pre-Treatment: Some clients may be requested to attend pre-treatment seminars prior to their regular group sessions.
  4. Treatment: The Initial Program is 8 weeks long consisting of both group and individual counseling sessions. The length of stay may be longer which is based on a variety of factors.
  5. Discharge: Discharge is a planned process and occurs when the individual’s goals have been achieved. Graduating residents are supported in the mental, emotional, and financial reintegration with their families.
  6. Follow-Up: Monthly contact with each alumni is available for those who wish the continued contact. As well weekly alumni meetings and monthly birthday meetings are held on site.
